Elbert County Fair
Once again our congregations
will have a presence at the County Fair. A decision
has not yet been made regarding a promotional item.

Community Assistance Network of Elbert County
(C.A.N.)

Our congregations have agreed to supply
volunteers for Thursday afternoons from 2-4 PM.
Volunteers serve in the Thrift store, sorting cloths,
cleaning shelves, stacking merchandise. C.A.N. is an
important outreach arm of our ministry.

Sunday School
Is offered for youth ages 3 years-old through sixth grade. The youngest children
learn basic biblical stories, make crafts, and learn songs.
Elementary class Sunday school teachers use materials based upon the Gospel
lessons in the Revised Common Lectionary. This way a child who attends
worship and Sunday School on a given day will hear the lesson twice, and have
the opportunity to interact with Scripture beyond just listening to the sermon.
For children middle school age, a Confirmation Ministry is offered, taught by our
Vicar/Pastor. Classes meet once per month on a Sunday evening. The program
lasts two years as the youth cover basic Bible content and catechetical materials-The
Apostles' Creed, The Lord's Prayer, The Ten Commandments, etc.

Communion For Shut-ins
We have licensed lay ministers for giving communion to our members who are ill and can not come to church.

Please call the church office at (303) 646-6528 to set up a time after services.

We are at Running Creek Plaza on Highway 86. Our worship service is at 9:15 a.m. on Sundays.
A nursery is provided.
